Mini Driver has been on frequent rotation at Supermegacorporation for several years now. Sometimes a record is so good that one simply assumes that it will be picked up by the mainstream and enjoyed by many. As the saying goes, assume and you make an ass of you and me... Les Nipples are still relatively unknown outside of their own Sweden. How sad for the rest of the world!

Supermegacorporation is doing their part to remedy the situation by distributing this flawless pop celebration. Mini Driver is a solid hour of catchy hooks and instantly memorable vocal melodies. From song to song the instrumentation is complex, varied and innovative, but never in an unnecessary way - the odd clarinet, keyboard or vocal chorus is always exactly what the song called for. There is an easy, off-handed sense of humor that runs through the entire recording.

For comparison's sake, much of what makes Village Green era Kinks so fantastic can be discovered in Mini Driver. (And where pop music is concerned, I personally can not give a higher compliment than that.)
